ARTBO | International Art Fair of Bogota
For four days, the International Art Fair of Bogotá congregates national and international galleries, curators, artists and the general public around a platform of commercialization providing one of the most significant cultural showcases in the visual arts in Colombia and the central axis of the artistic circuit that takes place during the month of October in Bogotá.
Currently, the International Art Fair of Bogotá is one of the most important platforms for cultural exchange and research: its focus on quality and diversity has given it a reputation as one of the most refreshing and risky fairs in Latin America. It is for this reason that is considered one of the most essential visits on the worldwide art circuit.
The fair will take place from October 27 to 30, 2022, with the main participation of around 39 galleries from different parts of the world.
In each edition of ARTBO | Fair, the Main Section presents national and international galleries with experience, emerging and with avant-garde proposals carefully selected by a committee made up of prominent figures from the art scene.
In this edition, the participation of Alonso Garcés Gallery stands out, returning to the Fair with a proposal led by Manolo Vellojín, Pedro Tagliafico and Jorge Riveros. The Elvira Moreno Gallery will also exhibit the modernist geometric abstraction works of Master Jorge Riveros together with the scientific abstract work of Julia Carrillo (Tepoztlán, Mexico, 1987); Ernesto Leal (Havana, 1971), Joaquin Segura (Mexico City, 1980), Federico Ovalles and Luis Fernando Ramírez (Bogota, 1980).
